Information Systems PhD Program (ISBA Dept., Hankamer School of Business)

For the Fall 2024 intake Bentley will be recruiting in the area of accounting. Bentley Full Time PhD in Accounting students are interested in a variety of accounting topics, including audit quality, management control, capital markets, investor decision-making, accounting information systems, information technology controls, tax, and corporate governance. Ideally, applicants will have completed a Master’s degree in accounting.

Leadership and Organizational Science (LOS)

We offer two PhD in business programs: PhD in Business Administration and PhD in Mathematical Finance. The PhD in Business Administration offers seven academic disciplines, including Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Marketing, Mathematical Finance, Management & Organizations, Operations and Technology Management, Strategy & Innovation. Our PhD community is small, we seek candidates who will thrive in an open environment where collaboration and collegiality are key.

Our doctoral program is a research oriented program that trains you in foundation knowledge to form the basis to study problems in business, analytics, management, operations, organizations, and more broadly societal and policy issues. It is a place to understand and contribute to the intelligent future. We offer the ability to study problems in core areas like Economics, Operations Research and Organizational Behavior and Theory, as well as functional areas like Accounting, Financial Economics, Business Technologies/Information Systems, Marketing, and Operations Management.
